We all want to live good and productive lives. No one wants to look back with regret. In this six-week series we’re exploring the Book of Titus. It’s a letter Paul wrote to a young church and its leader about putting their lives in order and focusing on doing what is good. This week we look at Paul’s instruction to Titus on the importance of bringing order and structure to the young church in Crete. To do that he had to address a barrier that was holding them back. We were all created to work. It’s part of how God made us, but for most of us, we have a lot more going on in our life than just work. We have personal responsibilities, we have relational responsibilities, we have hobbies, and for families, we have family responsibilities. When you put them all together, there’s more to do than we have time to do it. So in the face of this tension, what do we do? We cheat. Every day we choose to cheat something, somewhere and we cheat someone. The question is, where are you cheating? And is that the right place to cheat?
