New at New Denver Church?

Start here.

1. Check out a Sunday service. And then keep coming back.

You will get to know NDC’s vibe and values by coming to church at least a few times. We often have different worship leaders, pastors, and liturgical elements on any given Sunday, so you’ll get a better feel for who we are by attending for a few Sundays. Services are at 8:30 & 10 am and for families with kids, we suggest attending 10am to start. In the summer, we simplify to one worship service. Starting Jun 7, 2026, we have one service at 9:30 am.

1a. If you’ve never been to NDC, here’s what you can expect . . .

Our worship services last about an hour and typically gather between 150-250 people. Our music is primarily contemporary, with the occasional hymn.

Teaching is rooted in Scripture and varies week to week—most Sundays you’ll hear from our lead pastor, while other trusted teachers share throughout the year. Messages often move through a specific book of the Bible, a meaningful topic, or a seasonal theme.

You can also expect elements of liturgy woven into our time together, such as the Apostles’ Creed, the prayer of confession, or other responsive prayers.

Come casual! We are in Denver after all 🙂

2. Fill out a Connect Card. Virtually or in-person.

Fill out a Connect Card, either in service or online, to get an email from a pastor or staff person to set up a day and time to meet for coffee or lunch. This is a personal and easy way to get to know New Denver Church just one-on-one. Or perhaps you just want to know more about groups or ways to volunteer. We can send you an email with that information, too.

3. Download the Church Center App.

At New Denver Church, you can view all upcoming events and retreats, join D-Groups (or small groups) and Social Groups, and register your kids for NDC Kids on Sunday through Church Center. Most people at NDC use Church Center regularly.

4. Attend Discovering NDC.

About once every couple of months, NDC hosts Discovering NDC after both services. For about 30 minutes, you will have a conversation with a pastor about the history, beliefs, and core values of NDC.

5. Get to know others by joining a
D-Group.

New Denver Church offers opportunities to join a D-Group every September and January. These are small groups that meet at the church or in people’s homes to discuss Sunday sermons, a book study, or a specific topic to help you grow in relationship with Jesus.  If you join New Denver Church outside of September and January, we have Social Groups, which are a fun and easy way to explore an interest or hobby while meeting people.
