At New Denver Church we think of ourself as a family on mission – to lead people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This idea of family on mission comes from Jesus himself:
While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” (Matthew 12:46-50)
Jesus invited everyone to follow him and become part of God’s family, and we want to do the same at NDC. We want to be a community of faith for anyone seeking God, no matter where they are in their relationship with him. Therefore, we rely on our community of faith to invite friends, neighbors, and co-workers to connect with us as a community – through a Sunday worship service, a connect event or informal gathering with others from NDC.
