We’ve always said at New Denver that parents are to be the primary disciplers of their kids. However, we never dreamed that someday we’d be in a pandemic where we’d have to rely on this philosophy more than ever! While we look forward to the day when we can all be back together in person at NDC, we think this is an opportune time for parents to learn what it really means to disciple their kids at home. We can say that we want to lead our kids into a growing relationship with Jesus…but how?? In this four-part interactive parenting workshop, we will explore some simple, practical skills that we think all parents can and should hone as they seek to disciple their kids in everyday life. We’ll cover how to pray for your kids in a meaningful way, how to read the Bible with your kids, how to have intentional conversations with your kids, and more!
Join us on Zoom on Sunday nights from 7:15-8:00pm on Sept 6, 13, 20, & 27. Only one parent per family needs to attend. (If both can make it, that’s great, but if one is wrangling the kids to bed, or helping with homework, or cleaning up dinner, etc. we get it! Just send the better note-taker so you can debrief together afterwards!)
