In the Beginning, Part 3 – Why the Bible Matters
August 1, 2010
This is part three of a new series that is different than anything we’ve ever done. We’re exploring some tough questions that have perplexed many believers and also given doubts to those outside the faith who are skeptical about Christianity: Is it possible to believe in the claims of both science and faith? What about creation and evolution? Aren’t they incompatible? How do we make sense of Genesis if the scientists are telling us it can’t be true? In this message, we go to Genesis to discover more about what the Bible has to say about creation and look for clues or how we can integrate the perspective we find there with the claims of science.
