Good Friday Tenebrae Service

March 30, 2012

Join with the congregations of seven other Denver-area churches on Friday, April 6th at 8:00pm at Colorado Community Church (3651 S. Colorado Blvd) as we celebrate Good Friday with a special Tenebrae service. You won’t want to miss this special candlelight experience of reading through the events of the last week of Jesus’ life and worshiping through song along with people from around the city, joining together as the Church in Denver. No child care is available at the event so plan accordingly.

New Series: #OccupyTheWorld

March 2, 2012

In September of last year, thousands of people took to the streets of New York to “Occupy Wall Street.” Soon that demonstration turned into a worldwide phenomenon as people around the globe joined protests and took to social networks to voice their discontent with the injustice they saw in the world around them. What does this movement teach us about our world, and how we should think about injustice through the lens of faith? Is God doing anything about what’s wrong in the world? Is there anything we can do? Join us March 4, 11, and 18 as we explore what it means to #OccupyTheWorld
