Have you ever had those nagging questions that you’ve been afraid to ask out loud? Not just any questions, but the really tough ones about God, doubt, religion, faith, Jesus, or the Bible? On May 19, instead of a typical sermon, we’re going to talk about them. So, submit your question online using this online form (it’s totally anonymous!), or you can even submit your question to us during the worship service on May 19 and we might answer it on the spot. It’s one Sunday you don’t want to miss. Read more

God is up to something in our great city. The question is: will we continue to go about our busy lives unaware, or will we join what he’s doing? For the next two weeks, Jason Malec and two special guests will help us explore what it means to be In the City, For the City.

Being human means that we all experience life within a body. And whether we like it or not, our body is the only one we get, and how we treat it affects the way we live. But is there more to you than just your body – a consciousness, a will, a spirit, a soul? Join us April 7, 14, 21 and 28 as we explore the scriptures to find what it means to be human, Body and Soul.

This Sunday is Easter! But, what do we really believe about Easter? And how do our beliefs about God, Jesus, and Easter affect the rest of our lives? Join us on Sunday at 9am or 5pm as Dan Snyder brings a special message simply called Believe.

What is Lent?
Lent is a season of reflection and repentance. During Lent, we prepare ourselves to fully experience the meaning of the cross on Good Friday and the empty tomb on Easter Sunday. Just as we carefully prepare for big events in our personal lives—a wedding, graduation, or a big move—Lent invites us to make our hearts ready for remembering Jesus’ passion and celebrating his resurrection. For more about Lent, listen to An Introduction to Lent from Norton’s series Giving Up | Taking Up Read more

New Year’s Resolutions are hard. Right about now, we usually give up. But maybe that’s not so bad. What if February brings a new opportunity–a new way of giving up a bad habit or taking up a new practice? And what if this new way fits into a much deeper purpose and story that God is writing in your life? Join us for a powerful new message series during the season of Lent called Giving Up | Taking Up. Click here to listen to messages from this series.

What is a church? It’s a simple question that doesn’t seem to have a simple answer. Big churches. Small churches. Formal churches. Informal churches. Even when Christians believe basically the same things they sometimes have very different ideas about church. Sometimes it seems so…scattered! Join us January 13th and 20th as we explore the scripture to learn more about the origin of the church and why we do what we do at New Denver.
