Advent Series: The Weary World Rejoices

November 28, 2011

Weary is a word that often describes us. Whether it’s a demanding family situation, a tiring job, or an uphill battle against a bad habit—life can wear us down. But the prophet Isaiah brings good news! During the month of December, we’ll reflect on his words to a weary world.

Losing Your Religion, Part 3 – The God Box

November 27, 2011

Does it ever bug you that religious people tend to wear their faith on their sleeves (sometimes literally!)? What’s that about? And why can’t they simply keep it to themselves? You know: Live and let live! This week, we’ll look at how religion tends to compartmentalize faith, and what the scriptures have to say about “taking God out of the box.” Join us this Sunday as we conclude the series, Losing Your Religion.

Advent Conspiracy: Spend Less, Give More

November 21, 2011

Christmas can [still] change the world.

The story of Christ’s birth is a story of promise, hope, and a revolutionary love. So, what happened? What was once a time to celebrate the birth of a savior has somehow turned into a season of stress, traffic jams, and shopping lists. And when it’s all over, many of us are left with presents to return, looming debt that will take months to pay off, and this empty feeling of missed purpose. Is this what we really want out of Christmas? What if Christmas became a world-changing event again? Read more

In this message, Jason reveals the game-changing solution to this dilemma that is available to everyone.

Listen, and hear why you may need to lose your religion in order to find faith.
