Aspiring politicians squandering their influence through poor moral decisions. And in each case, we ask the question, why did this happen? What went wrong? King Solomon was no exception. He had a meteoric rise to leadership blessed with all the wisdom, wealth, power, and influence – the likes of which the world had never seen. Yet his life took a different trajectory. How Should My Faith Influence My Politics?

In the increasingly polarized world in which we live, it is difficult to have a civil discussion about politics. Throw religion into the mix and it’s pretty much impossible, right? We don’t think so. If we’re going to take our faith seriously and our citizenship seriously then we need to discover how these two important parts of our life fit together.
