On June 19 Dr. Craig Blomberg, distinguished professor of New Testament at Denver seminary will tackle the question, “Why should we believe what the Bible says about Jesus?”

On June 26 Dr. Mark Young, president of Denver Seminary, will address the questions, “What is God’s mission in Denver and in the world?”

Finally on July 3rd as we celebrate Independence Day Weekend, our own Stephen Redden will look at the question, “How should my faith influence my politics?”

So join us June 19, 26, and July 3rd for this great new series!

He has authored or edited fifteen books and recently served on the team of scholars that translated the New International Version (NIV) Bible. In his message Dr. Blomberg addresses the question – why should we trust what the Bible says about Jesus?

Ecclesia, Part 2 – Gathering’s Important

June 12, 2011

When you think of church, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? A building with pews, a choir in robes, a preacher spouting “hell, fire & brimstone”? Is this an accurate picture, or is church supposed to be something different? Join us as we consider the earliest understanding of “ecclesia,” the church. And, hopefully, as a result, we’ll discover a new way of thinking about the church, and maybe we’ll even stop going to church.
