Fear is a powerful emotion. Whether we’re afraid of failure, rejection, or death, fear often takes over our hearts and minds and controls everything we do. It was no different with the disciples. Even after Jesus had risen from the dead, they were still gripped by fear. What they needed was peace; what they needed was Jesus.
