Shift, Part 3
October 25, 2009
In this series we are exploring how we all pursue purpose, identity, success, and contentment and how a simple shift in perspective might change our direction. We spend everyday dealing with people. At work, at school, at the gym, at home. And for the most part, we focus on getting what we want out of relationships. But what if we approached other people in an entirely different way? What if the goal wasn’t to get something? Join us this Sunday as we examine another shift from the Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians.
Norton will be teaching again this week, and Danny Oertli and the band will be leading us musically. We will meet on Sunday, November 1st at 6pm at Hope Community Church (1801 S. Logan St.).

Shift, Part 1 – Never Satisfied
October 22, 2009
Purpose. Identity. Success. Contentment. These are some of the greatest goals in life, but we often go looking for them in all the wrong places. In fact, we easily get focused on the very things that lead us in the opposite direction. Perhaps we simply need a shift in perspective to get us headed in the right direction. This week Stephen looks at our pursuit of contentment and the shift that Paul calls us to make in reconsidering from where contentment comes.

October 13, 2009
This week we’ll be continuing our new series Shift. In this series we will be exploring how we all pursue purpose, identity, success, and contentment and how a simple shift in perspective might change our direction. Norton will be teaching this week on Identity Theft, and Danny Oertli and the band will be leading us musically again. We will meet on Sunday, October 18th at 6pm at Hope Community Church (1801 S. Also, don’t forget about our Waumba Land environment for preschoolers and UpStreet environment for elementary-age kids. Both of these environments take place during adult worship services, and our host team will direct you on how to get your kids checked in when you arrive.
We hope that you’ll join us, and please feel free to invite friends in whom you’ve been investing or anyone who you think would like to join us as well. To make the process of inviting others easier, we’ve put a page on our website called New to New Denver that outlines what to expect when you come to our services. We hope this will be helpful, and if you have any other questions, as always please feel free to email us.

If you live in Denver, we would love to get to know you, let you get to know us, and answer any questions you may have about the church. So let us buy you a cup of coffee! Just
