Take a hike!

August 12, 2009

flatirons-ScottIngramIf you’re like me, one of the things you love about Denver is the opportunity to get outside and enjoy all the incredible natural resources we have here. But it’s so easy to get busy and not take time to go enjoy them. So next weekend New Denver Church is going to take a hike!

On Saturday, August 22nd we’re heading up to Boulder to do some hiking in Chautauqua Park. Chautauqua Park sits at the base of the beautiful Flatiron Mountains. Chautauqua offers a wide range of hiking options for all experience levels, including kids.

Our plan is to head up on Saturday morning, hike all morning, and eat lunch together at the famous Chautauqua Dining Hall. If you would like to carpool we will gather at South High School at 8:15am, departing for Boulder at 8:30am. If you’d rather hit the snooze bar an extra time and just join us in Boulder, we’ll meet at Chautauqua Park, in front of the dining hall, at 9:30am.

If you plan on joining us, please RSVP below:
