Picnic in the Park

4/17 UPDATE: Due to the snow storm in Denver, we have decided to cancel the Picnic in the Park event. Please join us in two weeks for the next Community Gathering.
Spring is here (okay, with a little bit of snow sprinkled in), and we’re heading to the park! Join us on Saturday, April 18th at 12:30pm for lunch and an afternoon of fun in Wash Park. We will meet at the boat house parking lot, near Smith Lake at the north end of the park. Bring your family, friends and favorite park entertainment (frisbee, football, or maybe just a comfy chair), and we’ll provide the food – lunch from Chick-Fil-A will be provided. RSVPs aren’t required (we don’t mind having a little leftover Chick-Fil-A for later), but it would be helpful for planning. So click here to RSVP if you know you’re coming.
Community Gathering – A Night of Worship

This Sunday, April 5th at 6:00pm New Denver Church will host a special Community Gathering to celebrate Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday is the day that we remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalm in the final days before his death and resurrection. To prepare our hearts for Easter, we will gather together for a night of worship and to share communion together.
We will meet at Hope Community Church (1801 S. Logan Street) at 6:00pm, and child care for pre-school-age children will be provided. If you plan on bringing your pre-schoolers, please email us to let us know their ages so we can get an idea of how many children to plan for.
The Community Gathering is an environment to connect with others and build relationships. As always, please feel free to invite anyone you think might enjoy being part of the evening.
