A great start

Last night we hosted our first Vision Gathering at the Duffy Roll Cafe here in Denver. This was our first opportunity to connect as a group with new friends in the area and to share our story and the vision for the church. Jason was able to fly inĀ  and fought through a head cold and bad back to share in this significant event. So all three members of the team were able to share in each presenting a portion of the evening’s program. Attendance was very encouraging, and the setting was intimate enough to allow some good questions and discussion. Perhaps the most encouraging part of the night was that most people stayed nearly an hour after the program ended just talking and getting to know one another.

This was just one event – a small step in a very long journey. But as I listened to people talk about their heart to see God move in their lives and the lives of their friends who don’t know him, I felt like this was the beginning of something special. It is such a joy and privilege to be on this journey and to see God do what only he can. Please continue to pray for us and for our church – that God would continue to bring together in this church the people he wants to use to lead people in Denver into a growing relationship with Christ.

    That’s really great man :-)
Love hearing about your progress, and also that God blesses you with the chance to impact so many lives for Him.

Glad you had such a good “kick-off”! That God guy can be such a show-off with that grace stuff, can’t He? ;-)

Got something to say?
